Before Your Appointment
- Shave the area the day before (but skip waxing or plucking, as you need the hair root intact)
- Try to avoid sun exposure or tanning for at least a week beforehand
- Skip any harsh skincare like acids or retinoids on the treatment area
- Stay hydrated and consider skipping that second coffee, since caffeine can increase sensitivity
- If needed, a numbing cream can help for more sensitive areas (we’ll let you know if it’s recommended)
During Your Appointment
- We’ll start by cleaning the area and provide you with protective eyewear
- The laser device glides over your skin, sending light pulses that feel like a quick zap or light rubber band snap
